As I sat down writing this Blog, I knew right away that I was on a mission, on a quest, on a journey to the truth, the absolute truth. I can think of a great a many whom forever engraved their memories into history just because they too were on a quest for an answer.
My question?
What makes a guy wake up 6am in the morning just to write a Blog?
Well there is the possibility that a person feels happier or more contempt with one’s self after seeing one’s own creation. I guess I would feel happy if I wrote a single, well planned, thought through essay. I guess that’s the modern day equivalent of having babies. So some people write a lot of Blogs and then marvel at their effort, and some well… reproduce…
No, no, no… That doesn’t make sense, does it? Or I don’t make sense, do I? Or I am making sense but you’re not understanding, are you?
Is it an Ego thing? I need people to confirm my ideas, or that I need people to congratulate me on a Blog-Well-Done? Of course a Blog-Well-Done can be from many perspectives, there is the “Funny Blog”, “Political Blog”, “Spiritual Blog”, “Serious Blog”, and my personal favorite… “I’m so pissed at the world, I just want to Diss (Disrespect for all of you Harvard grads) somebody!!! Blog”.
If that’s is the case then I guess someone like Mark Twain would have chosen the “Funny Blog” and Gandhi, well its debatable whether he’d go for “Political Blog” or “I’m so pissed at the world, I just want to Diss somebody!!! Blog”.
In any case, Blogs make people happy (well happier, at least… well maybe not but just humor me). The Blog-er is happy, the Blog-ee is happy, and the guy selling bagels down the street is happy.
So I guess I just finished writing a Blog… So that’s how it feels to reproduce?
